GlitterEyes pressed pigments

Hey beauties!

A great new product I want to share with you is Glitter Eyes pressed pigments!! These are by far the best glitters I have ever used! The pressed glitters come in little round pressed pigments and such a gorgeous range of colours.

Here is what makes these glitters so good!

. The fact that they are pressed means no more messing around with glue and loose glitters creating a mess everywhere.
. They are so easy to blend and you can blend them with other colours and they still look gorgeous.
. They stay on all day without even needing a setting spray. They dry quite quickly on your lids and then your ready to go.
. They are soo glittery!! And when you spread it on your lids the glitter doesn't get lost and end up looking thin. It stays a strong pigmented colour.
. Also there is such a good range of colours!

If you love a glam look these are a must have!

Mario Badescu

Mario Badescu

Hey beauties!

If you haven't heard of this brand I suggest you try it! I have been testing these products out for the past month and I am very impressed...

Here is the details of how I use each of the products and their pros and cons:

Glycolic gel- this is to be used at nights only and I would say use this every other night.
Pros- it's really affective and I could see results almost straight away. It sinks into the skin straight away. Also it's not too drying because it is a gel formula.
Cons- It can sting a bit on application.

Glycolic acid toner- apply day and night after cleansing your face
Pros- It makes your skin feel so clean and tight. I don't know if it's in my mind but my pores feel smaller.
Cons- no cons for this one!

Anti acne serum- I use this every other night when I use the glycolic gel on top of  it just to add a bit more moisture.
Pros- it does feel nice and moisturising without clogging up any pores
Cons- I don't think it's necessary anti aging as I haven't seen any of those benefits but it helps keep my skin clear and moisturised at the same time.

Drying cream- I would only use this once a week at the most on top of the buffering lotion.
Pros- it is so effective. If you are having a breakout it will completely dry out every single spot and almost draw it out the skin without scarring.
Cons- it smells so bad to the point I can't stand the smell but it is worth bearing for 1 night a week just for the fantastic results!

Seaweed night cream- 3-4 nights a week on top of any of the products for added moisture
Pros- so moisturising! I wake up with my skin feeling so soft and more importantly no spots! It's very soft and gentle.
Cons- it's not necessarily a con but you can only use this at nights it's too heavy for the daytime under makeup.

Buffering lotion- once a week under the drying cream.
Pros- in my opinion this is the most powerful product for clearing out all blackheads and under the surface spots. I saw a difference after the first use. My skin felt smoother and less under the skin spots.
Cons- This is another product with such a strong smell. Once a week is enough!

Drying lotion- used on bigger and more painful spots
Pros- When you do get a big spot this is very effective and will reduce it in size overnight!
ConsI only use this when I have a big spot come up which thanks to all the other products from Mario Badescu means I don't need to use it often.

Control moisturiser for oily skin- I use this in the daytime every day.
Pros- really nice and light. It's great to use under makeup as a base. My makeup applies so nicely with this product.
Cons- you have to really shake it beforehand because it's oil-free so if you don't shake it a layer of water gathers on the top and you end up squeezing out loads of water.

Silver powder- Once every other week to be left on for 15 minutes then washed off.
Pros- you need to put a damp cotton bud into water and rub it on the spots. It sits like toothpaste on the skin and has a real drying effect.
Cons- it makes such a mess when applying it, the powder goes everywhere!

Glycolic eye cream- every night on the eye area.
Pros- I absolutely love this eye cream. It really hydrates my undereye area and smooths any fine lines.
Cons- it's a bit heavy to use under makeup!

Overall this is a great line of products if you have acne prone skin like mine but still want to keep your skin moisturised. Some acne products can completely dry your skin out these won't do that.

I give these products overall an 8/10

Anastasia Beverley Hills Cream Contour Kit

Hey guys,
Happy New Year!!!

First review of 2016 is on Anastasia Beverley Hills Cream Contour Kit.

The colour palette that I used on myself in the photos above is 'light.' The top row can be used for highlighting and the bottom row for contouring.

Pros:

The consistency is so creamy and it has such a strong pigment. I found the best way to apply this product  is first by warming it on the back of your hand to get it really creamy then applying with a sponge or soft brush such as the small Artis oval brush.

Although each of the colours are quite thick and creamy what I love about it so much is that they didn't crease under my eyes. It stayed the whole day as well.

I also found that each of these colours are usable for some part of the face. The yellow colour is especially good for covering under eye dark circles.

Cons:
I can barely think of any cons the only thing I would say that is slightly annoying is that if you run out of one colour you cannot buy it separately yet. There is nothing bad I can say about the actual product! I am in love!!!

It is expensive but definitely worth the money and it will last you a long time!
